Submit Your Webite To Search Engines Now that you have built your web site masterpiece, you want people to visit, right? You can tell all your friends about your site, and they can tell all their friends, and you still won't get enough visitors to make it worth your while. If you really want to get visitors to your website, you need to get it listed on as many search engines as possible. A search engine is the resource library your web browser uses when you do a search in the browser window. You enter a keyword or phrase, and the search engine spits out 40 million different sites to choose from. FIRST.. Make sure your site is not already listed. You can get BANNED if you submit your site too often! You can enter your website's address in the search box below.
Most all search engines use "spiders" or "crawlers" to evaluate your site, and categorize it to be listed. Most sites are rejected or given a really low ranking because they have improper, or no "Meta Tags". This is the "HTML" code that you paste on your site strictly for search engine listings. Check your site before you submit it to search engines. The following link will run a check on your site, then show you what you could do to repair it. Most free sites do not allow you to paste "Meta Tags" on your site. If you definitely want to get your site on a search engine, and you cannot put meta tags on it, you can go to the following sites. There are really only 10-20 sites that are major search engines, so a free service that submits to the top 10 search engines is just fine. Do not submit your site more than once a week.
